Private customer, 2-year factory warranty

Private customers receive a two-year factory warranty. The legal warranty period starts on the delivery date. You must therefore keep the purchase invoice. Tip: register your purchase with the manufacturer right away for smooth warranty handling.

Business customer, 1-year factory warranty

Business customers receive a one-year factory warranty. The invoice is required; the warranty period starts on the invoice date. We advise you to register the purchase with the manufacturer after delivery for hassle-free service.

The Klium warranty: extended to five years on power tools

At Klium you get more than the standard warranty on power tools. After registration with the manufacturer you enjoy two extra years of Klium warranty on top of the factory term. That means peace of mind for up to five years. You also buy with confidence from an official dealer – Klium is an authorised reseller of every brand in the shop.

Conditions for our extended warranty

• Valid for top brands : DEWALT, Festool, Makita, Bosch Professional, Fein, Hikoki, Metabo, Milwaukee, Spit & Ryobi.
• The extra Klium warranty follows the same terms as the manufacturer’s warranty.
• Not valid for specific damage and consumables :
  • Damage caused by normal wear, accidental or deliberate changes by the buyer, misuse, moisture, fire, earthquake or other external causes.
  • Damage due to installation or use not in line with the supplied instructions.
  • Damage after breaking seals on certain parts or after removal or tampering with serial numbers.
  • Consumables such as bulbs, batteries, etc.
• Applies to purchases from 02-07-2018; the exact period is stated per item.
• Not valid for pressure washers, combustion-engine machines and pneumatic tools.
• Please note: Even with the additional Klium warranty, the Festool repair cost and theft insurance expires after 36 months.
• Register your purchase with the manufacturer within 30 days to activate the extended warranty.

Repairs during the warranty period

Check the maker’s warranty terms through the brand links in our shop. If your claim fits the factory warranty, fill in the contact form on our customer-service page. Follow the safety rules when returning goods to avoid extra costs. Once we get your item, we forward it to the supplier for inspection and repair. You receive updates at each step. If the supplier rules that the defect is not covered, we inform you. The supplier then issues a repair quote, which we send to you. After we get the item back from the supplier, we return it to you free of charge.
