What does the Bahco factory warranty include?
Where legally permitted, all professional hand tools are offered with a lifetime warranty. A warranty against material and manufacturing defects for the normal lifespan of the tool in question. Lifespan is defined as the period that a tool is expected to last under normal use and conditions. A reminder: professional use is defined as the use of the tool for purposes related to a user's trade, business, or profession.
Excluded from the lifetime Bahco warranty for professional use:
- Pneumatic tools, hydraulic tools, battery-operated tools, electric/electronic tools, torque tools, automotive tools, and measuring tools. These tools and other tools not covered by the lifetime warranty have a warranty period of 1 year (12 months) from the purchase date of the product, unless other conditions are specified in the specific warranty terms of the tool.
- Batteries are guaranteed free from manufacturing and material defects for a period of 2 years from the original purchase date. If inspection reveals that the problem is caused by manufacturing or material defects, the product will be repaired free of charge (or, at our discretion, replaced) if it is still within the warranty period.
- The warranty period for consumers (non-professional use) is determined by local regulations on consumer goods.
- Defective products will be repaired, replaced, or substituted. In general, SNA Europe (Bahco) does not cover the costs of immobilization, transportation, visit, or on-site repair at the customer's location or travel expenses for repair, replacement, or substitution of products.
- Any product that has been misused or improperly maintained, or that has worn out due to improper use or has undergone unauthorized modifications, is not covered by this warranty.
- This warranty does not apply to repairs or parts subject to wear due to use or other natural wear and tear, such as, but not limited to, blades, rubber parts, seals, gaskets, sanding pads, gears, bearings, wheels, oil, air filters, clamps, and other parts defined as consumables. This warranty also does not cover defects in the tool caused by use or other natural wear and tear.
- A warranty claim must be filed within the warranty period. For this, the complete tool in question must be sent to the retailer or distributor along with the sales documents confirming the purchase date and product designation.

How do you claim the warranty?
