Hole saw sets for wood, metal and multi material

A hole saw set saves hunting for the one size the job needs at that moment. Installers drill for downlights, pipe penetrations, socket boxes and ventilation in a single day, and those diameters are fixed by the material and the standard, not by whatever happens to be in the case. A set covers the common sizes from around 16 mm to above 100 mm in one box, together with the arbor and the pilot drill.

Look at the tooth technology first. Bi-metal hole saws are the all-rounder for timber, plasterboard, plastic and thin-walled metal, and stay sharp at a low cost per hole. Carbide toothed versions go through multi material, including board with screws in it and cement bonded panels, and hold their edge far longer. Then look at the arbor. A quick-change system saves real time on a fitting day because the saw changes without a key, and an ejector function pushes the core out without levering.
