SOUDATRANSIT P FR is a conduit for cables and small plastic pipes, which can also be used as provisional fire protection. It consists of a round plastic pipe that can withstand high temperatures and has an intumescent lining material based on graphite. When it heats up, the graphite expands so that it fills openings and gaps around cables and pipes and prevents flames, smoke and gases from spreading. SOUDATRANSIT P FR offers a fire rating of up to EI 240.

Instructions for use:
Install the SOUDATRANSIT P FR centrally in the wall or floor, ensuring that the centre of the penetration piece is in the centre of the structure in which the penetration is to be installed. Pouring or press-fitting in concrete: Ensure that the penetration piece is fixed to the structure. Check that the circumference of the grommet is fixed. If not, fix the perimeter with the fireproof acrylic sealant Acryrub FR PS. Installation in larger openings is done with Fire Board Pro, Soudacompound FR or Acryrub FR PS In accordance with detailed drawings and ETA approvals. Before inserting the cables in the transit, remove the mineral wool plug in the Transit. When the cables are inserted, replace the plug in the centre of the grommet. Make sure the plug fits so well that there are no openings inside. This will prevent cold smoke from coming through the grommet. Make sure that the instructions for installing the mineral wool plug remain available in the future, so that the plug can also be reinserted after installing new or removing old cables. We recommend affixing the instructions with a sticker on the firewall.
