Product description:

  • A cylindrical roller (and needle) bearing can, to a limited extent, withstand axial displacements
  • But a cylindrical roller bearing cannot accommodate angular displacements
  • In turn, a spherical roller bearing is resistant to angular displacements, but cannot accommodate axial displacements
  • The carb bearing (SKF - since 1995) combines the advantages of a barrel, a cylindrical roller and a needle roller bearing.
  • This bearing not only accommodates angular displacements, but also axial displacements
  • An additional advantage is that this patented bearing type has a much higher radial load carrying capacity than bearings of comparable size
