High endurance drilling with Milwaukee Thunderweb
- Conical core resists breakage: The thicker internal web accepts higher feed pressure and torque, significantly reducing the risk of drill bit failure.
- Precise start without walking: The 135° split point tip prevents slipping on smooth metal surfaces, letting you drill immediately without prior center punching.
- Fast hot chip ejection: The open flute geometry dissipates heat quickly and clears debris smoothly to ensure a longer cutting lifetime for you.
With the Milwaukee Thunderweb hss-g metal drill bit, you drill quickly and accurately into metal, steel, cast iron, and plastics. The conical web design withstands high feed pressure and torque, significantly reducing bit breakage under demanding loads. Thanks to the 135° split point tip, the bit starts immediately without wandering, eliminating the need for prior center punching. Its open flute geometry rapidly ejects hot metal chips and dissipates heat to extend tool life. Supplied as a 10-piece pack with a 5 mm diameter and cylindrical shank according to din 338, it keeps your repetitive drilling tasks running without interruption.
Product description
- THUNDERWEB design is characterised by a conical shaped web which gets thicker towards the back of the drill bit (1-13mm). Standard drill bits have a constant thickness throughout their length (13.5-20mm). Even at the narrowest point the THUNDERWEB core is thicker than that of a standard drill bit.
- Parabolic web cross section: Large web thickness. Strength built in.
- Flute geometry - THUNDERWEB flute form ejects hot chips rapidly. Dissipates heat better increasing life time.
- 135° Split point - Precision starting, drill bit won't walk on material surface.
- Polished finish reduces friction and extends drill bit life.
- Impact resistant ABS case with added rubber corner protection.
- Accepts higher feed pressure and torque equalling less breakages.
