Clean cutting with Makita blades
- Polycrystalline diamond tipped teeth: The four PCD teeth let you cut through abrasive fibre cement boards with minimal wear.
- Smooth and chip-free cuts: The specialised tooth design prevents edge chipping, delivering clean results on exterior sidings and cladding panels.
- Stable 2.3 mm kerf: You maintain precise control and smooth cutting performance on saws with a 20 mm bore.
Cut through fibre cement boards, exterior sidings, and calcium silicate panels with total precision using the Makita B-33685 circular saw blade. Equipped with 4 polycrystalline diamond (PCD) teeth, it resists abrasive wear and delivers an extended service life in dense cement-based materials. The dedicated tooth configuration minimises edge chipping on fragile cladding while keeping dust generation under control. Featuring a 165 mm diameter, a 20 mm bore, and a 2.3 mm kerf, it gives you smooth, dependable handling on circular saws and plunge saws alike.
Product description
Circular saw blade, Specialized PCD, 165 x 20 mm, 4 T
Specialized circular saw blade with a diameter of 165 mm for cutting fibre cement board. The blade has 4 carbide teeth, a cut of 2.3 mm and a hole diameter of 20 mm.
Special circular saw blade for fibre cement board is specially designed for fibre cement boards. The blade has a flat tooth with an extra layer of polycrystalline diamond (PCD). PCD is a sintered composite of diamond particles with a metallic binder. This composition is more resistant to quartz-containing materials such as cement and ensures that the blade has a longer life than an ordinary circular saw blade with carbide teeth.Compared to an ordinary circular saw blade, it has relatively few teeth. This is because fibre cement splinters very easily and the same effect is achieved with fewer teeth. Polyester fibreglass can be cut with circular saw blades with this type of tooth.
