A floor squeegee clears standing water and slurry in a single pass, which is faster than mopping and cuts the drying time that keeps an area closed. Blade width sets the pace: 400 mm suits tight aisles and washrooms, while 600 mm and 700 mm heads cover open production floors and loading bays in fewer strokes. Single-bladed heads pull liquid ahead of the stroke and are easiest to steer around equipment; two-bladed heads trap a thin film between the lips and leave a drier surface behind.

A swivel head follows the floor contour and reaches under racking without lifting. The rubber compound matters as much as the width, since a softer lip seals against sealed concrete and tile while a firmer one survives grit and hot water. Colour-coded frames and handles keep production, washroom and food-contact zones apart, which is the simplest way to make a cleaning plan auditable.
