Internal, external and hydraulic pullers, sets and parts from Facom

Facom pullers remove bearings, gears, pulleys and hubs that are stuck on a shaft or in a housing, without damaging the part or the shaft. Mechanics in maintenance, industry and automotive workshops reach for one whenever hammering a part off is not an option.

The first split is internal or external. An external puller hooks its claws behind the edge of the part; an internal puller locks into the bore, for example of a bearing seated in a housing. Some external pullers for mounting 2 or 3 claws can be converted into an internal puller. Pullers with 2 sliding jaws and a locking mechanism adapt to different diameters, while long jaws reach parts that sit deep. For heavy loads there are 10 t hydraulic external pullers with a set of 3 or 4 legs. Puller sets combine several sizes and types with a pull rod, also as a module for the tool trolley.

The spindle of a puller is usually turned with a spanner, which you will find among the Facom single spanners and spanner sets. Pullers sit in the wider Facom hand tools range.
