Heavy duty edge and corner protectors for load securing

Edge protectors sit over the edge of a load where a lashing strap runs across it. Hauliers, warehouse staff and loaders use them to stop the strap cutting into sharp corners and the load itself being damaged by the tension.

These Rema protectors come in two forms. The H3 is a short corner piece you place on the corner under each strap, made for a strap width of 75 mm. The H2 Heavy duty is a long profile that shields an edge over a greater length, from 0.3 m to 1.2 m, so several straps can run over the same piece.

Choose by the strap width you use and the length of the edge under load. For single packages with a few straps, a short corner piece is enough; for long bundles such as sheets, profiles or beams, a long profile spreads the pressure along the whole side. These protectors are part of load and cargo securing, together with the anti-slip mats for load securing that stop the load sliding under the straps.
