Tractel fall protection

Tractel fall protection covers the personal equipment that stops or prevents a fall during work at height, for roofers, fitters, maintenance teams and anyone working from an aerial platform.

A fall protection system consists of a harness, a connecting element and an anchor point. The HT22, HT46 and HT56 harnesses differ in their fastening: a quick-release fastener makes putting the harness on and taking it off faster than a standard buckle. For the connection, you choose between a lanyard with shock absorber, a fall arrest device such as the Blocfor, and a guided fall arrester such as the Stopfor K on an anchor line. Blocfor devices differ in line length, from 1.8 to 6 m on the strap versions; also check the permitted load, which reaches 150 kg on several devices. Hooks and connectors such as the M10 steel hook link the components, and a Tracpode tripod serves as a temporary anchor point.

Ready-made sets combine a harness with a lanyard or fall arrest device, for the aerial platform or as basic equipment, often in a carrying bag. The whole range falls under Tractel personal protective equipment, hygiene, and clothing.
