Which screwdriver bit is required for this screw?

Use a PZ2 (Pozidriv size 2) bit for optimal torque transmission and a secure fit.

What are the benefits of the WIROX coating?

The WIROX coating provides significantly higher corrosion protection compared to standard zinc plating indoors.

What is the advantage of a full thread on a 25 mm screw?

A full thread delivers maximum pull-out resistance and high load capacity throughout the entire screw length.

How does the countersunk multi-head work?

It countersinks cleanly and flush into timber while braking against metal hardware to avoid over-tightening.

Do you need to pre-drill into wood before fastening?

In most softwoods, pre-drilling is not required thanks to the advanced SPAX thread design.

Practical benefits

Clean and flush finish: The countersunk multi head mills neatly into the timber so you achieve a smooth, flush surface.
Enhanced corrosion protection: The specialized WIROX coating gives you significantly higher resistance against corrosion than standard zinc plating.
Positive drive engagement: The PZ2 Pozidriv recess provides optimal bit grip to ensure you drive screws quickly and accurately without slippage.

In a nutshell

The right choise for

With the Spax 5 x 25 mm full thread universal screws, you achieve firm and flush timber joints in chipboard, MDF, and solid wood. The countersunk multi head mills cleanly into the board surface without causing damage, while the full thread delivers maximum pull-out resistance and a strong hold in thin panels. The PZ2 Pozidriv recess provides positive bit engagement, preventing slippage and ensuring precise torque transfer as you drive each screw. Engineered with a protective Wirox coating, these steel screws offer far superior corrosion resistance compared to standard zinc-plated alternatives. Whether fitting furniture hardware or assembling wooden fixtures, this 200-piece pack gives you the speed and reliability needed on every job.
