Soudaband PRO MF1 is a premium all-in-one multifunctional joint sealing tape, which meets the new DIN 18542:2020 MF1 requirements. It fulfils all 3 levels of the professional SWS joint sealing system in a single product: impact rainproof up to 1050 Pa on the outside, good thermal and acoustic insulation in the middle and airtight on the inside of the joint. Applications:
Highly suitable for vapour-permeable, driving rainproof and permanently elastic seals in accordance with EPB and EnEV requirements regarding airtightness. Sealing of expansion and movement joints, sealing of connection joints between doors or windows and the wall, acoustic insulation of joints. Soudaband PRO MF1 was successfully tested as a system for impact rain and airtightness.
Instructions for use:
Measure the joint depth and width and choose the corresponding sealing tape dimensions. The joint flanks should be parallel and free of construction dirt and cement residues. When unrolling Soudaband PRO MF1, provide 1 cm of additional tape per running metre of joint. When installing, ensure that the printed side with the inside marking (inside) is along the inside of the window. For vertical joints, start at the bottom. Then attach the pre-compressed tape with the adhesive side to the joint edge using a putty knife. After application, the pre-compressed band will expand, pressing against the joint edges and filling in any unevenness in the joint. For more information, consult the technical data sheet.
