The unique protected design of this SKF Hook spanner, allows it to tighten and loosen lock nuts whilst these are inside SKF split plummer (pillow) block housings (SNL). Alternatively it can be used as regular hook spanner. They are used to secure and adjust bearings on tapered journals, adapter sleeves and withdrawal sleeves. The SKF hook spanner HN 22/SNL, is designed for nuts with an outer diameter of 145 mm. In particular for lock nuts of series KM 22, KMFE 22, KMT 22, N 024, AN 22 and M100x2 (DIN 1804).
