The RIDGID® P-TEC pipe cutter is the first pipe cutter of its kind that can perform a clean, fast and angled cut on thin-walled plastic pipes (< 2.5 mm) in a hassle-free manner. This versatile pipe cutter can be used for polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and thin-walled PVC pipes in two standard sizes: 32 and 40 mm outer diameter - both diameters with the same tool. A P-TEC 5000 is also available for cutting plastic drain pipes with a diameter of 50 mm. The P-TEC pipe cutter is yet another addition to the RIDGID family of pipe processing tools that offers tremendous value to any industry where PVC/PP/PE pipes are used and installed.
- Automatic clean deburring - The cut made with this pipe cutter results in only a thin string of plastic, as opposed to the ragged result produced by cutting with a handsaw. No second tool is needed to deburr, this pipe cutter automatically deburrs parallel to the cut.
- Automatic chamfering - Allows easy connections to be made with other drainage elements immediately.
- Fast cutting - An average of six rotations are required to complete a cut, four times faster than with a hand saw.
- Perpendicular cut - The convenient inspection openings always ensure a perpendicular cut on the demarcated pipe.
