    • Each chain has the same dimensions as its normal counterpart.
    • For example, an extra strong chain of 11,000 kilos (24000 lbs) has the same dimensions as a normal chain of 5500 kilos (12000 lbs).
    • This chain is frequently used to transport animal feed and unpackaged foodstuffs such as grain, corn, wheat and raw food mixtures.
    • Most of these applications use scraper conveyor systems with large spacing between sprockets. Such systems sometimes move slowly, with little or no shock loading.
