Magnetic and locking-ring bit holders from Milwaukee with 1/4" hex

Milwaukee bit holders are the link between a screw bit and the machine: they hold the bit, extend the reach and adapt the drive. If you work with a cordless drill driver or an impact driver, you pick the type here that suits your screwing work.

A magnetic bit holder retains the bit and often the screw as well, handy for overhead work. The SHOCKWAVE IMPACT DUTY models are made for impact drivers and come in 60, 152 and 305 mm, with a 1/4" hex connection. A bit holder with a locking ring clamps the bit mechanically so it does not drop out on long shanks; it also comes in 152 and 305 mm. For plasterboard there is a dedicated magnetic holder that sets the screw to depth.

Adapters change the connection: from a 1/2" or 3/8" square to a 1/4" hex, so a ratchet or impact wrench can drive bits too. A right-angle screw head drives in corners where the machine will not fit straight. A 75 mm magnetic ring bit holder goes with the M18 FSG drywall screwdriver.
