Makita accessory/part grass trimmer

Makita grass trimmer and brushcutter accessories and parts keep the machine cutting: cutting heads, replacement blades, guards and blade sets. They belong to attachments and blades for Makita garden tools.

Start with the cutting head. There are heads with one plastic blade and heads with three plastic blades; more blades spread the work around the head, while a single blade is simpler to replace. Plastic replacement blades come in packs, for example twelve 255 mm plastic knives or five curved blades for cutting head 198848-3. For the brushcutter there is a 305 mm replacement blade, and the wire cutter keeps the line at the right length.

Replace protective parts when they are cracked or worn. A knife protection covers the cutting tool during transport, the trimmer guard fits the DUR192L, and a separate blade set is available for the EN424MP attachment.
