Labeling for machines, pipework and workstations

Labeling makes it clear at a glance what a pipe carries, which circuit belongs to which switch, and when a scaffold was last inspected. On the shop floor that cuts searching and prevents the wrong action being taken.

The base is loose letters, numbers and symbols you assemble into a text yourself, alongside pre-printed labels, magnetic strip and cards. For your own wording there are blank label rolls you print on a thermal transfer printer.

Choose on substrate and conditions first. A label on a smooth steel pipe needs a different adhesive than a label on rough concrete or on plastic, and outdoors UV, moisture and temperature swings all count. Then look at reading distance, because that sets the character height you need.

For inspection and testing there are separate versions, from writable labels to irreversible temperature indicators that change colour once a limit is passed and stay changed afterwards. If you also want signs, floor tape and pictograms, those follow on under marking.
