Hydraulic cutters for heavy cutting work

A hydraulic cutter cuts through steel wire, steel cable and rebar with a force that is impossible to deliver with hand tools. The hydraulics build up a high cutting force, so you cut thick cables and wires cleanly in one movement without fraying or deforming them. Demolition crews, installers and industrial maintenance teams use them where heavy material has to be shortened quickly and safely.

Double-acting versions open and close under pressure, which speeds up work at height or in tight spaces. When choosing, look at the maximum cutting diameter, the cutting force needed in tonnes and whether you need a separate pump or a model with an integrated drive. The shape of the cutting head decides what material you can process: a round jaw for cable, a straight jaw for bar.

The range covers diameters for light to very heavy duty. Pick a hydraulic cutter rated for the heaviest cable you cut regularly, so your tool never runs short of force on site.
