Gardena pruning shears, loppers and multifunction scissors
Gardena pruning shears and loppers cut green and dry wood, from fine twigs to thicker branches. Landscapers, parks departments and grounds crews use them for formative pruning, thinning and clearing shrubs.
The cutting system decides what a tool is for. Bypass Cut works with two blades that slide past each other and gives a clean cut in green wood, so the plant heals well. An anvil cut presses the blade onto a flat anvil and holds up better in dry, hard wood. Also look at the length and the maximum branch thickness. Long loppers such as the EnergyCut Pro L at 750 mm cut branches up to 50 mm and give reach into a hedge or crown; the EnergyCut Pro S at 602 mm is easier to handle. Other EnergyCut loppers cut up to 42 mm.
For one-handed work there are pruning shears such as the Ecoline at 18 mm and the comfort version at 24 mm. The MultiCut hobby and pruning shears and the Snip-Snap multifunction scissors at 18 cm handle light cutting. These tools belong to the wider range of Gardena cutting and bending tools.
