Single Festool circular saw blades for wood, laminate, aluminium and plastics

Single Festool circular saw blades replace or add to the blade on a circular saw, for joiners, interior fitters and installers cutting wood, board materials and profiles to size. Each blade is named after the material it is made for.

Start with the size of your machine. The designation gives the diameter, kerf and bore, such as 160x2,2x20, 168x1,8x20, 216x2,3x30 or 260x2,5x30; diameter and bore must match exactly. Then decide on the material. WOOD UNIVERSAL cuts wood quickly with few teeth, while WOOD fine CUT, with more teeth, leaves a clean edge in wood and board. LAMINATE/HPL is intended for coated board and edging, ALUMINIUM/PLASTICS for aluminium profiles and plastics. The tooth count is in the code, for example W28 or W48 against W60 or W80: more teeth means a finer cut.
