Facom scissors: electrician's, heavy-duty, multifunctional and short-blade models

Facom scissors are hand tools for cutting wire, cable, tape, plastic and other thin material in the workshop and in electrical work. They are part of the Facom shears, bolt cutters and cable cutters range, which also covers tools for heavy cables and bolts.

Choose the scissors to suit the material and the job. Electrician's shears have short, sturdy blades for snipping wires and also come in a coated version. Heavy-duty scissors cut thicker and tougher materials. Multifunctional scissors and scissors with short blades suit precise cutting and cutting out shapes. All-round cutters with straight or angled jaws cut with plenty of force close to the workpiece, the angled jaw mainly in corners.

For work at height, the heavy-duty scissors also come with an SLS attachment, so you can tether them to a fall-protection system and they cannot drop. Keep the blades clean and dry, and do not cut material the scissors are not made for, so the edge stays sharp.
