Cobalt steel and non-sparking metal saw blades from Facom, single or per 100

Facom metal saw blades fit a hand hacksaw frame and are used to cut metal, tube and profiles to length in the workshop and in maintenance. The blades are cobalt steel, plus a 300 mm non-sparking metal saw blade for areas where sparks are a hazard.

Tooth pitch is the main choice. Blades with 8 teeth per cm cut faster through thick and solid material, 10 teeth per cm is a middle ground, and 12 teeth per cm gives a finer cut in thin-walled tube and sheet. A rule of thumb: always keep a few teeth in the material at the same time, otherwise the blade snags.

Then work out how many you use. The blades come singly, in threes and in packs of 100 for workshops that saw a lot and want to keep a stock. Also check that the blade length matches your frame.
