Elbow fittings for right angle bends in compressed air lines

Facom Keep On Rolling

An elbow fitting makes a right angle turn in a pneumatic line at the point where a hose would otherwise kink. On cylinders, valve blocks and machine parts sitting close against a frame or a housing, that keeps the bend radius within limits and leaves the flow intact.

Push-in versions work without tools. Push the tube home to the stop, the collet grips it and the seal closes on the outside wall. Releasing it is a matter of pressing in the release ring. That turns a change to an existing installation into minutes of work instead of stripping out a whole run of line.

Get the sizing complete before you order. The fitting follows the outside diameter of the tube, here from 4 to 22 mm, and the machine side connection follows the thread already present. Reducing versions join two different tube diameters in the same bend, which saves a separate adapter. SMC and Metabo supply the range. For branches rather than bends, tee fittings are the counterpart, and the full range sits under instant links.
