Cordless DeWalt angle grinders, sanders and polishers, 18V and 54V

Cordless DeWalt angle grinders, sanders and polishers grind, sand and polish without a cable, for metalworkers, painters, bodywork and construction.

The platform sets the power. The 18V XR machines cover most grinding and sanding; the FLEXVOLT machines on 54V take on heavier work, such as cutting with a 230 mm disc or a 125 mm trencher for chasing conduit slots in walls. For angle grinders, 125 mm is the usual size. Choose the switch type: a slide switch stays on during long work, a deadman's switch stops the machine as soon as you let go.

For finishing there are 125 mm eccentric sanders, an orbital sander for a 1/4 sheet and a 225 mm long-neck sander for walls and ceilings. Polishers work from 125 to 180 mm. Compact 76 mm grinders and a pin grinder get into tight spaces. Most are sold bare or as a kit with batteries and charger. Other machines on the same batteries sit under DeWalt battery tools, such as the DeWalt cordless drills, impact drivers and combi hammers.
