Magnetic bit holders, right-angle and flexible adapters from DeWalt

DeWalt bit holders and adapters connect screw bits to the machine and extend what you reach with a drill driver or impact driver: into corners, behind obstacles or at a fixed screw depth.

A magnetic bit holder holds both bit and screw; its length sets the reach, and it has to suit the bit length, such as 25 mm or 50 mm. Versions with an extendable screw guide keep long screws straight. A quick-change bit holder or quick coupling speeds up bit changes during repetitive work. For plasterboard there is a bit holder with depth adjustment, so the screw head sits just below the surface without tearing the paper.

When you cannot reach the screw head-on, an angled bit holder or a flexible adapter helps. The IMPACT Torsion and FLEXTORQ versions are built for impact drivers and handle their higher torque. With an impact nut adapter from 1/2" to 1/4" hex, an impact wrench takes on bit work.
