Bosch electric angle grinders, sanders and bench grinders

Bosch electric angle grinders, sanders and bench grinders are meant for cutting through metal, dressing weld seams or sanding wood and paint to an even finish. Metalworkers, painters and joiners use them every day in the workshop and on site.

With an angle grinder, the disc diameter sets the job. 125 mm is the handy size for cutting and deburring with one hand on the machine and one on the side handle; the models for 180 mm and 230 mm discs deliver more power and handle thicker material and deeper cuts in stone. With a diamond disc you cut tiles and masonry, with a cutting wheel you cut steel.

For sanding, choose by surface. An orbital sander finishes edges and corners neatly, an eccentric sander removes material faster on large areas, a belt sander tackles rough timber and a long-reach sander covers walls and ceilings. Bench grinders with two grinding wheels keep chisels and drill bits sharp at the workbench. If you combine grinding with drilling and chiselling, the Bosch corded rotary hammers and demolition hammers belong at the same workstation. Many machines ship in an L-BOXX or a case, which makes transport and storage easier.
