3M Polyimide Film Insulating Tape 1205 is an insulating tape with a polyimide film backing. This flame-retardant tape is suitable for use in applications requiring thin insulation material for wrapping transformers, capacitors and wire harnesses. This tape can withstand temperatures from -40 °C to 155 °C (-40 to 311 °F) without loss of electrical properties and tensile strength.

3M Insulation Tape 1205 contains a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive that provides optimum adhesion. This tape is intended for anchoring cables/ terminal boards.
