Instructions for use:
Soudaband Pro BG 1 is easy to apply without special tools. The use of a spatula, knife or scissors and possibly wooden wedges is sufficient. After determining the joint depth and width, select the corresponding tape size. The joint edges should be parallel and free of building debris and/or cement residue. When measuring Soudaband Pro BG 1, take at least 1 cm extra per running metre of joint. In the case of vertical joints, start at the bottom by placing the Soudaband Pro BG 1. Fix the swelling band by pressing the self-adhesive side against a joint side using a putty knife. After application, the pre-compressed band will swell so that it will press against the joint flanks, thus filling the joint, with any unevenness. When butt-jointing two Soudaband Pro BG 1 ends, it is important that they are level on the visible side and that the two ends are firmly connected. Make sure there is an overlength per band and do not stretch it when installing.
