Anti-slip tape for stairs, ramps and wet floors

Anti-slip tape restores grip where a floor turns dangerous: steel stair nosings, loading ramps, ladder rungs and wet workshop aisles. A mineral grit surface bonded to a self-adhesive backing gives immediate traction, and it goes down in minutes without closing the area while a coating cures.

Pick the width to suit the walking surface. Narrow rolls from 19 mm to 51 mm suit stair nosings, rungs and machine treadplates; 100 mm and 152 mm handle ramps and doorway thresholds; rolls from 305 mm to 914 mm let you sheet a whole platform or step tread in one piece. Black is the general-purpose choice, while black and yellow reads as a hazard marking and doubles as a warning line.

Grit coarseness matters as much as colour. A coarse grade grips work boots on an outdoor ramp but chews soft-soled shoes, and a fine grade suits indoor traffic and bare hands on a handrail. Where tape is impractical, an anti slip mat or a coated anti slip surface treats larger areas.
