The universal screw is the absolute all-rounder in SPAX's range. It can do almost anything - for example, screw into softwood such as spruce and pine completely without pre-drilling, or into wooden panels such as MDF, chipboard and OSB boards. Our universal screw shows its superiority especially in interior and furniture construction, but with suitable corrosion protection it can also be used outdoors.
Thanks to its special thread geometry, the resistance when screwing is significantly lower than with conventional screws, which not only protects your muscles and nerves, but also the battery of the cordless screwdriver. Splitting of the wood close to the edges is reliably prevented.
