What works on special units can't be wrong on the construction site. The ZEPHYR Work GTX Mid ESD S3S is the civilian evolution of a true deployment boot - robust, agile and surprisingly practical. Originally designed for military special forces, it has exactly the features that are also important in everyday work: stability, protection and freedom of movement. The upper material of hydrophobised suede and textile combines sturdiness with breathability - a tear-resistant fabric that does not give in even under heavy loads. Ideal for anyone moving between scaffolding, workbenches and the weather. The two-zone lacing allows individual adaptation to the foot, without pressure points. And because the hooks are covered, you won't get caught behind anything even with cables or grates. The GORE-TEX Extended Comfort Footwear provides a waterproof and highly breathable inner lining. Whether it is raining or muddy - feet remain dry and the shoe climate pleasant. The GUMMI/PU sole LOWA X-Trac Work with MONOWRAP® frame surrounds the foot and stabilises it, even on uneven terrain or when moving fast. At the same time, the sole offers excellent slip resistance. The plastic safety toe cap is light, robust and reliable, and the metal-free penetration guard prevents nails, splinters or other sharp objects from reaching the sole of the foot. A PU creep nose reduces wear on the upper material and the ESD capability allows use in electronically sensitive environments. The boot features the following certifications: FO: resistant to fuels and oils. SR: slip resistance beyond standard requirements. HI & CI: heat and cold insulating properties. HRO: heat-resistant running sole - tested in contact with 300 °C. Available in sizes 39 to 48.
