With the ZEPHYR, LOWA has a boot in its range designed for use by the army and special police units. Stability, dexterity, but also 'rock-solid' safety features set the tone here. Our ZEPHYR Work GTX black Mid ESD S3S WR CI is, as the name suggests, the work version of this boot and therefore absolutely ideal for use on construction sites and the like. Because even if you are rarely involved in hand-to-hand combat here, the demands for these tough working conditions are no less. The S3S boot made of hydrophobised suede and hydrophobised textile is perfect when it comes to waterproofing. In fact, in addition to the hydrophobized upper material, the inside of this boot is equipped with GORE-TEX Extended Comfort Footwear. This means you can wade through deep puddles and always stay nice and dry. When it comes to stability, too, this mid-cut boot achieves fantastic figures because not only the high shaft, but also the special LOWA X-Trac Work RUBBER/PU sole with the raised 'framework' provides more grip. This frame functions as a kind of exoskeleton supporting the foot. A plastic toecap and metal-free perforation protection complete the safety package of this boot, which offers robust protection of the upper at the toecap thanks to a PU creep nose. The SR-approved boot is ESD-capable, heat- and cold-resistant and also meets the additional FO requirement. Available in sizes 39 to 48.
