The 40V-XGT range is Maktita’s answer to the demand for increasingly powerful cordless tools in construction and industry. This next-generation system consists of tools, batteries, and chargers that offer a solution for demanding applications.
The XGT batteries deliver a maximum of 40 V, twice as much as the 18 V batteries of the popular Makita LXT platform. This means unprecedented autonomy in the use of heavy equipment.
Not only the power is remarkable, the built-in program that ensures digital communication between the battery and the tool is an innovation that contributes to the exceptional performance of XTC.
The charging time for the 2.5 Ah battery is 28 minutes, while the 4.0 Ah battery is fully charged in 45 minutes. Thanks to the adapter, it is now possible to charge tools from the Makita LXT range and XGT tools — almost 300 in total.
The XGT batteries are specially designed with durability in mind and are manufactured with a waterproof housing and short circuit protection. Resistant to water and dust, the batteries and tools can be used under the most demanding conditions. A cell holder for better shock resistance and a durable rail that keeps the battery firmly in place when using powerful machines ensure trouble-free work where the highest demands are made on man and machine.
