Product description

  • Flexifoam is a ready-to-use elastic one-component PU gun foam
  • Follows joint movements up to 50% and is therefore ideal for sealing around PVC and aluminum joinery
  • Ensures sustainable insulation
  • Also has special sound-insulating properties

Properties

  • 3 times more flexible than a traditional PU foam
  • Freon-free (harmless to ozone layer and greenhouse effect)
  • Fast curing
  • High shape stability (no shrinkage or post-expansion)
  • High filling capacity, but less swelling
  • Excellent adhesion on all materials (no PE, PP and PTFE)
  • High insulation value, thermal and acoustic
  • Excellent mounting properties
  • Very accurate dosing

Applications

  • All foam applications in static and non-static joints
  • Assembly of windows and doors
  • Filling in cavities
  • Sealing of all openings in roof constructions
  • Applying an acoustic screen
  • Apply a sound-proofing layer
  • Optimize insulation in cooling technology

Instructions

  • Shake the can vigorously for 20 seconds. Screw the sleeve onto the gun. Wet the feet with dust-free surfaces. For non-classical substrates, it is recommended to first perform an adhesion test on the substrate. Fill the joint or cavity for 65% as the foam expands even further during curing. Shake regularly during use. If work is being carried out in different layers, moistening must take place between the layers. Uncured foam can be removed with cleaner or acetone. Cured foam can only be removed mechanically.

Tools

  • Soudal foam gun with screw thread or Click & Fix system

Note

  • All foam applications in static and non-static joints
  • Assembly of windows and doors
  • Filling in cavities
  • Sealing of all openings in roof constructions
  • Applying an acoustic screen
  • Apply a sound-proofing layer
  • Optimize insulation in cooling technology

Tips

  • Using a gun offers the possibility to dose foam strings very correctly. The light moistening of the substrate in hollow spaces optimizes good adhesion and yield.
