What does the Bosch Product Warranty imply?

Besides the legal warranty period, Bosch offers an additional factory warranty after you register your purchase at Bosch.
When you have purchased a Bosch item at Klium,

you can benefit from two additional years of Klium Warranty after registration.
Klium is an official and authorized dealer of Bosch (and of all other brands in its webshop).  

The legal warranty
Private customers, 2 years legal warranty
Private customers benefit from a legally established warranty period of 2 years. The warranty period starts on the invoice date of the delivered item. Register your purchase with the manufacturer within 30 days of receiving the ordered item. This way, your purchase is known to the manufacturer, and the legal warranty is extended with an additional manufacturer's warranty, depending on the manufacturer and the purchased item.

Business customers, 1 year legal warranty
Business customers benefit from a legally established warranty period of 1 year. The warranty period starts on the invoice date of the delivered item. Register your purchase with the manufacturer within 30 days of receiving the ordered item. This way, your purchase is known to the manufacturer, and the legal warranty is extended with an additional manufacturer's warranty, depending on the manufacturer and the purchased item.

What does the Bosch warranty actually cover?

  • 3 years warranty for electric power tools.
    This applies to all professional blue electric tools and measuring tools from Bosch. Excluded are high frequency tools, industrial battery powered screwdrivers and pneumatic tools, included accessories as well as battery packs and re-charging devices.
  • 2 years premium service for batteries and re-charging devices.
    This applies to all professional blue Bosch Lithium-Ion batteries including chargers. If a shortage of a battery or charger occurs during the lifetime of the warranty due to a material or manufacturing fault or wear, Bosch will replace it, possibly with a new model. Replaced batteries or chargers become the property of Bosch.

What does the additional Klium Warranty include?

Klium customers benefit from up to 5 YEARS OF WARRANTY on electrical tools of Bosch. On top of the factory warranty, you get 2 more years of Klium warranty according to the same terms & conditions as the factory warranty, after you succesfully registered your purchase at Bosch. 

The Klium Warranty service is valid as of July 2, 2018.

What should you do for the Bosch & Klium Warranty?

After having purchased your Bosch Blue product, you have to register your tool, battery, or re-charging device within 4 weeks. You can do this easily by creating an account on the PRO360 digital service platform. The PRO360 digital service platform makes your current and future registrations easier.

You can still visit the old portal to check up on your earlier registrations. Here, you also have the possibility to transfer your data to the PRO360 digital service platform.
