- The step drill is made of HSS (High-Speed Steel) and coated with TiN (titanium nitride). This ensures an exceptionally long service life when using coolant. The hole diameters in both spiral grooves are clearly visible and permanently marked with the aid of a laser. In addition, the 3-face shank prevents slippage in the drill chuck and ensures a high torque transfer.
