Dremel accessories: which attachment to use for what job
Something about multi-tools
There are two types of multi-tools: oscillating multi-tools and rotating multi-tools. Oscillating multi-tools make a vibrating movement, and you can use them to saw, grind, sand and scrape, depending on the attachment you use.
Rotary multi-tools are more suitable for all kinds of fine precision work. The rotary motion can be transferred to a variety of accessories that allow you to grind, cut, engrave or sand small surfaces, among other things.
